This week I had the possibility to test the new Jabra Evolve 75e MS, a wireless earbud design. And I must say I like the design.

My first experience

When unpacking the device, putting in the USB Dongle (Jabra Link 370) switching on the headset it was directly connected to my PC. The first to test was Spotify. The sound it not bad I must say, with enabling the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) this is a great experience for working when you need to concentrate. I tried to connect the earbuds together, this should pause my music, unfortunately this was not working with Spotify.

Next: where I use the headset mainly for, Skype for Business calls. The sound is pretty good, the only bad thing my customer was saying to me he could hear my colleagues talking in the background, and when i was silent he could hear the complete conversation. So, the “three-microphone ambient noise cancellation technology” in the microphone is not working as I expected for now. The busy light on the microphone is a little bit tiny, colleagues must be in front of you to see your status. The listen-in function (you can keep your earbuds in) by holding the ANC button for 2 seconds is working fine.

Hopfully the ANC on microphone and pausing music will work better in future releases (firmware)
