How the provisioning works succesfully

By default for a pure Online user the Default state will be:

    InterpretedUserType : PureOnlineSfBUserWithTeamsLicense

    get-csonlineuser user@microsoftteams.nl |FL SipAddress, InterpretedUserType, TeamsUpgradeEffectiveMode, EnterpriseVoiceEnabled

When you Assign Enterprise Voice and a LineUri the status will change to:

    InterpretedUserType : PureOnlineSfBUserWithTeamsLicenseNeedsProvisioningToAD

This will change to:

    InterpretedUserType : PureOnlineSfBUserWithTeamsLicenseNeedsPublishingToAAD

And finally this should result back in normal status:

    InterpretedUserType : PureOnlineSfBUserWithTeamsLicense

When this status ends in:

Direct Routing keeps sending Anonymous

Problem

While i was configuring an Audiocdes SBC with Direct Routing setup and started testing, we faced the issue that every call outgoing is presenting Anonymous as caller ID.

When looking up the SDP invite i saw the parameter Privacy showing up.

Solution

After some digging, i found that the Privacy ID is added automatically when you enable the option -forwardPAI $true (P-Asserted-Identity) within the Set-CsOnlinePSTNGateway cmdlet.

Because i don’t want to remove the PAI, i created the following manipulation rule in the Audiocodes SBC to remove the Privacy ID. Action Subject:

Do not bypass the lobby anymore

Control your meetings like never before! “Only Organizer bypasses lobby” setting is now General Available in your meeting options.

With this setting on, even people in your organization or in the meeting will now go through lobby first. The feature is available as a new value in “Who can bypass the lobby?” dropdown in Teams Meeting options. You can set this in your existing Teams meetings as well as in your future Teams meetings.

Did you know you can title up your chat to get a clear visual about the topics discussing? There is only one requirement to achieve this: at least three persons in chat.

How to achieve

Start a new chat, invite 2 other persons to join and click the downwards arrow to see extra options.

Enter the group name for the chat:

How to put your Poly x30 in Microsoft Teams mode

Hi All,

After a small break back in to blogging again. I also created a quick video of the steps below:

First of all check your firmware > latest version: 3.1.1-216109 (writing on 2020-06-09).

Go to General Settings > Provider

The System will now be rebooted, the admin password will be changed back to default (last 6 digits of the serial number).

How to use your Poly Trio800 with the Poly x30

Did you know you can pair your existing Poly Trio 8800 with your new Poly x30? With this feature you are able to control your Poly x30 and you can use the audio (speakers and microphone) from the Trio 8800 for your meetings.
